Abstract
A X-type dendrimer DTPA based on triphenylamine was designed, synthesized, and characterized by NMR and mass spectrometry. The obtained dendrimer possesses good thermal stability. Utilizing DTPA as the hole-transporting layer, the organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) were fabricated and the performances were investigated. The devices test showed that DTPA-based devices exhibited higher efficiency and higher external quantum efficiency (EQE), which indicated DTPA possesses good hole-transporting ability. Moreover, the DTPA-based devices also realized an operation lifetime of 265Â h at 20Â mA/cm2. The good hole-transporting ability and stability indicated the obtained DTPA is a promising candidate for hole-transporting materials, and has potential application in OLED devices.
