Abstract
In this study, a novel polyethersulfone/polyamide 66 (PES/PA66) filtration media for airborne particles was prepared via electrospinning technique. SEM, TEM, FTIR, tensile tester, contact angle analyzer, thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) were employed to characterize the morphology, the structural properties, mechanical properties, wettability and thermal properties, which indicated that the surface of the PES/PA66 composite nanofibers was smooth and uniform. As compared to pure PES membrane, the hydrophilicity of the PES/PA66 filtration membrane surface was better. Moreover, the composite membranes showed excellent filtration efficiency for the PM0.3-5, which was 99.999% for 0.3 μm particle.
