Abstract
In this letter, a symmetry classification algorithm of the generalized differential-differenceequations ün=Fnt,un−1,un,un+1,u̇n−1,u̇n+1is proposed according to the intrinsic Lie point symmetries, allowed transformations and Lie algebraic structures. The validity of this approach is demonstrated by a Toda-type lattice.
