Abstract
This paper concerns the exact value of cross-constrain problem and strong instability of standing waves in trapped dipolar quantum gases. By analyzing the characters of ground state, we give the relation of the cross-constrain problem and constrain problems. Then the exact value of the cross-constrain problem is obtained in the form of the ground state which is relevant to the frequency. Finally, we show the standing waves are strongly unstable.
