Abstract
We establish the existence of nontrivial solutions for the following quasilinear Schrödinger equation: âÎu+V(x)uâÎ[l(u2)]lâ²(u2)u=uα2ââ1+f(u),xâRN,where V(x):RNâR is a given potential and l,f are real functions, 2â=2Nâ(Nâ2), Nâ¥3. Our results cover two physical models l(s)=sα2, l(s)=(1+s)α2, α>1 and recent results from the literature (Shen and Wang, 2016, Deng et al., 2016) are improved and extended.
