Abstract
This paper presents a self-reconfiguring MPPT to maximize the power extracted from solar photovoltaic panels. The proposed method is based on the reconfiguration of solar photovoltaic panels; it is particularly suitable for real-time recovery of power losses from DC-DC buck-converter during the variation of the resistive load value. The developed algorithm changes the disposition of panels in series and in parallel according to the needs. The simulation results show the reliability of the developed method.
