Abstract
The algae liquefaction under hydrothermal conditions is an important option for the production of hydrocarbon fuel products that could be used both for industrial and household applications. The paper critically reviewed the hydrothermal liquefaction path with emphasis to the process catalyst design and identified areas requiring further investigations.186
