Abstract
1Â in. diameter Mg 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5Â mol% and Zr 0.015% co-doped Ce1%:GGAG crystals were grown by Cz method. Relationship between Mg concentration and absorption, luminescence, light output, decay time, timing resolution was investigated. Mg 0.2Â mol% co-doped sample showed the fastest timing resolution of 165Â ps among the Mg-co-doped samples.
