Abstract
We prove that, given 0â¯â¤â¯Î²â¯â¤â¯Î± and αâ¤Î»â¤Î²+α, there exist compact subsets X, Y of the Euclidean space Râαâ such that dimAX=α,dimAY=β and dimA(XÃY)=λ, where âαâ is the smallest integer â¯â¥â¯Î± and dimA denotes Assouad dimension. In the proof an Assouad dimension formula for uniform Cantor sets is established.
