Abstract
- Public education using a TV-CM reduces pre-hospital delay in ischemic stroke.
- It remains unknown whether the effect persists after a TV-CM has ended.
- We showed the positive effect of TV-CM disappeared after the end of the campaign.
- Continuous educational intervention is needed to sustain public stoke knowledge.
- More effective campaigns should be developed.
