Evaluation of cytotoxic potential and apoptotic effect of a methanolic extract of Bauhinia racemosa Lam. against a human cancer cell line, HeLa

MEBR seems to possess potent cytotoxic activity against a cancer cell line, HeLa and induces apoptosis. This may provide a novel potent chemotherapeutic agent for human cancer which could be considered for further clinical studies for future drug development.
