Abstract
â¢Anterior process fractures have never been documented in nursing literature.â¢Accounts for approximately 15% of all calcaneal fractures.â¢Mechanism of injury and the clinical presentation is similar to that of an ankle sprain.â¢Increase awareness when viewing radiographs.â¢This fracture is easily missed and are commonly misdiagnosed as ankle sprains.
