Abstract
Electrical stimulation of the common peroneal nerve concurrent with the maximum voluntary effort can remove the arthrogenic inhibition of the quadriceps muscle in patients with knee osteoarthritis. This finding could have clinical implications in the management of patients with knee disorders.
