Abstract
Studies about the regular existence of lymph channels in the dural sinus, about the blood-brain barrier and about the central nervous system immune privilege led to new clinic conclusions. On the basis of the results of the latest research in cerebrospinal fluids and brain drainage, possible osteopathic approaches are describes such as techniques for cervical venes and basilar plexus, drainage for the cisterns, cranial pumping, drainage of deep cervical lymphnodes, techniques for the dura, lymph pump, OA-release, osteopathic lymph drainage, drainage of the nose, eyes and ears, the cranial nerves and the upper cervical spinal nerves.
