Abstract
â¢Healthcare students are highly aware that emergency contraception exists.â¢But they showed important misconceptions and knowledge deficits regarding the topic.â¢Students and their patients may be subjected to misinformation and under-prescription for EC.â¢This can result in unintended pregnancies.â¢There is an urgent need to improve students' overall knowledge of EC.
