Abstract
This limited research suggests that it may be safe for patients to drive sooner than 24Â hours after receiving propofol. However, large multicenter trials using heterogenous samples using a range of propofol doses are needed to support an evidence-based revision to the current discharge guidelines for patients receiving propofol.
