Abstract
Pennsylvania Hospital is a 500-bed, urban teaching hospital located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is the nation's first hospital, founded in 1751 by Benjamin Franklin and Dr. Thomas Bond. It is 1 of 5 hospitals within the Penn Medicine Health System, all of which have achieved American Nurses Credentialing Center's Magnet® designation.
