Abstract
Consuming a diet containing 25% energy as honey or pure fructose-glucose slightly decreases postprandial blood glucose, but does not significantly increase postprandial plasma triglyceride, nor impair hepatic insulin sensitivity compared to an isocaloric starch diet.
