Abstract
While exposures to styrene in the implementation copolymers or in garages are low, they are still high in the polyester sector. Intervention on process (styrene proportion, closed molding), protective equipment (aspiration at source, respiratory protection) and individual practices (removal of the source, compliance with safety rules) are expected to decrease exposures and help managing health risks of workers.
