Abstract
The psychosocial-related work risks are multiple (stress, harassment, violenceâ¦) and frequent in working environment. Occupational physicians are often asked to help reduce this risk or cure their consequences. The management of psychosocial risks (PSR) includes medical and organizational approach (individual and collective). Knowing the definitions allows to identify those factors, paying attention to dangerous situation and detecting signs of severity. The role of occupational physician is to provide psychological care and reduce negative health outcomes for the worker and the organization. He must alert managers, contextualize the problems, coordinate procedures in the respect of medical confidentiality and with strict impartiality. The management of PSR requires a multidisciplinary approach: health department, workers, managers.
