Abstract
Adnexal masses are a frequent incidental finding during pregnancy. In most of cases, these lesions are benign. Ultrasound should be performed in first line. In case of complex, indeterminate lesions or suspicion of malignancy, pelvic MR imaging has been demonstrated to be the best second-line technique. Functional ovarian lesions specific to pregnancy must be known by the radiologist because they can mimic ovarian malignancy.
