Abstract
There is a lack of cohesive policy on how to educate imaging specialists. There is evidence that MRI practitioners lack knowledge and that current educational methods are failing. Direct entry via a specialized undergraduate degree is permitted in some countries, and research suggests that this is a beneficial way of learning MRI.
