Abstract
A statistically significant reduction in time to placement using the extraluminal approach without any differences in the rate of postoperative sore throat was observed. Whether placed intraluminally or extraluminally, a significant percentage of Arndt endobronchial blockers required at least one intraoperative repositioning.
