Abstract
Spinal anaesthesia is an acceptable alternative for ambulatory surgery of inferior limbs. Hyperbaric prilocaine chemical properties made it suitable for this kind of procedure. We present a case of unexpectedly prolonged spinal anaesthesia in a patient with no medical history of relevance.
