Abstract
Eclampsia is a major cause of seizures in the peripartum period, and it may be atypical. The treatment is based on the infusion of magnesium sulfate, and it is frequent to find posterior reversible leukoencephalopathy compatible images on MRI. This paper presents a case of coexistence of the two entities in a 32 years-old patient in the postpartum period, with clinical and image findings compatible with both pathologies.
