Enhancing anaesthesiology training in Europe with a trainees' network

Training knowledgeable, technically skilled physician anaesthesiologists is the goal of all anaesthesiology training programs. Communication of trainees' needs and concerns to the educational stakeholders can improve the allocation of educational resources. In this opinion article, the authors explain how the European Society of Anaesthesiology Trainees' Network was developed and its value to further adapt the European Society of Anaesthesiology's resources to the trainees' needs and to cultivate the next generation of leaders in anaesthesia.
