Abstract
In fact, non-HDL-cholesterol should be an excellent marker of atherogenic cholesterol, and an major therapeutic target in patients with atherogenic dyslipidaemia. According with different clinical trials and with the epidemiological and mendelian studies, in patients with high cardiovascular risk, optimal level of cLDL will be under 70Â mg/dl, and under 100 ng/dl for non-HDL-cholesterol; and in high risk patients, 100Â mg/dl and 130Â mg/dl, respectively.
