Abstract
There is a high risk of complication in peripheral vascular surgery. Risk factors are modifiable or nonmodifiable. It is important to identify the risk factors and treat and optimize the patient cardiac and renal status before surgery if time allows, and also to perform surgery in local or regional anesthesia whenever possible, to reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
