Abstract
Increases in global LV pump function during exercise in children are associated with enhanced LV apical rotation but not LV basal rotation. In addition, unique changes were seen in twist displacement loops in children before and after exercise. These data may serve as a foundation for understanding future applications of LV rotational mechanics in disease states.
