Abstract
This thought-provoking review demonstrates that, although it may be true that knowing a lot about the treatment of type A aortic dissection is essential for all cardiovascular surgeons, there remains a lot to be learned about the best possible strategies for dealing with the malperfusion syndromes that often accompany them.
