Abstract
â¢Sequencing and functional analysis show no γ-carboxylation of factor VII Tokushima.â¢Lack of γ-carboxylation explains < 1% procoagulant activity of factor VII Tokushima.â¢The factor VII Tokushima mutation (C22G) disrupts a γ-carboxylase recognition site.â¢The γ-carboxylase recognition site is common to proteins homologous to factor VII.
