Abstract
Opsoclonus myoclonus (OM) is a rare entity, defined by the combination of opsoclonus (involuntary, uncontrolled, multi-directional binocular conjugated saccadic eye movements, without intersaccadic interval, uninhibited by fixation or pursuit) and myoclonus (hence the appellation “dancing feet dancing eye syndrome”). OM is often associated with a cerebellar syndrome, circadian rhythm disorders, hallucinosis, and behavioral disorders. A wide range of causes can be involved, including infection and neoplasia. Urgent immunomodulatory treatment is required associated with the treatment of the cause if applicable.
