Abstract
For SECS patients who cannot undergo early carotid endarterectomy, early CAS is effective and safe if selectively indicated considering disease severity. Early and delayed CAS provide comparable mRS scores, incidence of symptomatic thromboembolic complications, CHS, and intracranial bleeding.
