Abstract
â¢This difficult case had a DI score of 30 and an ABO cast-radiograph evaluation of 14.â¢Total active treatment time was 25 months.â¢We corrected a lateral open bite and crossbite without temporary skeletal anchorage devices or surgery.
Posterior and Class III elastics were used to correct lateral open bite and anterior crossbite in a 29-year-old man. His occlusion, smile esthetics, and soft tissue profile were significantly improved after 25Â months of active orthodontic treatment combined with 4 anterior restorations.
