Abstract
Dentoalveolar ankylosis exerts significant changes on the biomechanical response of a single-rooted tooth and the surrounding bone structures. The dentoalveolar complex with ankylosis showed characteristic stress concentrations, increased stress values, and decreased tooth displacement compared with that with normal PDL.
