Abstract
Understanding the anatomic and biomechanical consequences of the neuropathy on the diabetic foot becomes easier owing to more and more precise measurement tools like numeric modeling of the foot and pedobarography with embedded systems. We can hope to detect earlier and easier at risk patients with these tools. Evaluation of gait cinematic and efficacy of the plantar orthoses as a routine clinical care will be a huge progress in the future for the prevention of ulcers.
