Abstract
Circadian rhythms are essential for the coordination of molecular pathways in various tissues. Any alteration of circadian rhythms, especially during changes in environment, increases the risk to develop obesity and type 2 diabetes. Here, we will describe the molecular mechanisms that explain the link between circadian rhythms and type 2 diabetes.
