Abstract
For many infectious diseases, there are modalities of post-exposure prophylaxis. The aim of this prophylaxis is to reduce the personal risk of infection and/or to limit its consequences. The other objective of post-exposure vaccination is to limit the spread of the pathogen by reducing the number of carriers. In February 2016, the French High Council of Public Health published a report on post-exposure immunization: vaccination and immunoglobulins. This review presents a synthesis of this report.
