Abstract
A diagnosis of microvascular or vasospastic angina should be considered in women. The condition tends to be more diffuse and severe in the elderly, and the high cardiovascular risk presented by the other two groups should be borne in mind. We shall cover these issues below, and pay particular attention to diagnostic and therapeutic management.
