Abstract
In the acute management of ventricular tachycardias, it will be essential to take into consideration the hemodynamic situation of the patient, using electrical cardioversion in those cases in which the patient shows signs of instability (hypotension, decreased level of consciousness, anginal pain or Heart failure, among others) or to the administration of drugs in those cases in which the patient is stable, especially in cases of idiopathic ventricular tachycardia sensitive to the administration of certain drugs. In the long term, it will be necessary to evaluate the need for implantation of a defibrillator device, as well as the administration of antiarrhythmic drugs as adjuvant therapy
