Abstract
Accordingly, the concept of total pain as the expression of global suffering of an individual is important, as it implies the different dimensions that modify the perception and manifestation of the pain, the concept of suffering integrating the physical, psychological, cultural, social, economic, spiritual aspects... that is, the multidimensionality of the pain.
