The hereditary cancer syndromes will facilitate this study because, as more information about human genomics becomes available, it will be possible to comprehend clearly the underlying molecular mechanisms of this diseases and result possibly in effective strategies to control them. Unfortunately, despite our extensive current knowledge on some of the risk factors of most of this malignant neoplasias, we have been unable to induct effective lifestyle changes that could substantially reduce the risk of these malignancies in our population.
