Abstract
In this cohort of patients with CKD with diabetes, HbA1c levels < 6% and â¥9% were associated with higher risk for death. HbA1c levels were not associated with ESRD in this specific CKD population. Diabetes-related deaths increased with higher HbA1c levels.
