Abstract
Among patients undergoing vaginal hysterectomy with morcellation, the incidence of occult uterine carcinoma is 0.82%. Uncontained vaginal morcellation when used concomitantly with vaginal hysterectomy does not appear to negatively impact patient prognosis or outcomes.
