Abstract
Varicoceles, a dilation of veins within the pampiniform plexus, are present in â¼15% of the general male population. This paper reviews the indications for treatment of varicoceles, post-intervention outcomes following treatment, and the various techniques for treatment of varicoceles. The aim of this review is to describe and compare complications associated with each approach to varicocele treatment.
