Abstract
Inguinal hernias caused by mucinous ascites and tumor were definitively treated by cytoreductive surgery plus HIPEC. Extraction of tumor and peritoneum from the inguinal canal facilitates fibrous closure of the hernia defect so that hernia recurrence was not observed.
