Abstract
Approximately 1 in 5 preterm infants examined had IOHs, generally unilateral. The presence of hemorrhage was directly correlated with both presence and severity of ROP and inversely correlated with BW and GA, although including hemorrhage in the grading algorithm only minimally improved the sensitivity of the telemedicine system to detect RW-ROP.
