Abstract
Super-obese patients (BMI >50 kg/m2) have higher rates of postoperative complications after THA than nonobese, obese, morbidly obese, and revision THA patients. Super obesity is an independent risk factor for increased rates of most postoperative complications including the need for early revision THA.
