Abstract
Adult degenerative scoliosis surgery is a complex undertaking. The surgeries are large and intricate. The patient population is typically sick and debilitated. Because of these factors, complications frequently arise. Knowledge of the most frequently encountered complications is essential. The following chapter will highlight these complications, the risk factors associated with these complications and techniques to help avoid and manage them.
