Abstract
Cortactin upregulation in TBSCC supports the conviction that inhibiting cortactin functions could have selective effects on this malignancy. Multi-institutional studies should further investigate the role of cortactin and phosphorylated cortactin in TBSCC, and their potential clinical application in integrated treatment modalities.
